These photo were taken on Victoria Embankment in London on the 11th Of December 2019.
In both these photos you can see the London Eye which is all lit up in red. In the photo we can also partially see the PS Tattershall Castle Boat. We can also see part of the river thames as well as building that are lit up in the back.
I chose to include both these images because i feel as though they help show the process of taking these photos. these photos are both very similar however the lighting differ in both. i feel as though the dark contrast in the second photo helps allow the London eye stand out and therefore allows it to become more eye catching which could help lead the photo to become more viewed by an audience. i also believe that the fact that all the buildings are lit up in different colours also allow each of them the be seen individually.
the reason as to why i chose to retake the photo is because i wasn’t happy with how the first photo came out. In my opinion, i think that the lighting was to overexposed in some parts of the photo meaning not all buildings are able to stand out individually. i also believe that the lighting in the first photo also doesn’t allow the Christmas tree on the boat to be seen clearly whereas this differs in the second photo due to it being clearly visible. Due to the darkness of the clouds in the photo it doesn’t allow the London eye to be as prominent making it seem like a less important aspect in the photo.
